This season, there are two popular pinks to choose from, depending on your wedding type and the look of your venue. Will you go for beautiful soft blush or striking hot pink? Choices, choices…

Blushing beauties

Let’s start with soft blush pink, which flatters every skin tone and is one of our most popular colours. It’s a super versatile choice because it looks just as pretty at a classical manor house as it does somewhere more relaxed and bohemian.

As part of your colour theme it works well with splashes of white and gold, paired with sage green or light blue or combined with pretty spring pastels. Our dresses in silver grey, sage green, light blue and lavender are perfect for mixing and matching with blush. Alternatively, try blush pink with dark navy or dark green for a much more contemporary feel.

Fabulous hot pink

Then, at the other end of the scale, we have zingy hot pink, which is the perfect way to add a splash of lively colour to your big day. Used as an accent colour, it’s amazing with white and gold or mixed with a selection of other softer pinks and whites.

For a summer wedding full of tropical brights you could pair it with bright yellow and orange, while for a winter wedding try mixing it with rich jewel tones such as deep purple and dark navy.

Whichever shade of pink you go for, remember all of our dresses come in six different styles, so there’s a design to suit every single maid. And don’t just take our word for it! Our real brides love pink bridesmaids’ dresses and, from the pictures below, we can see why…

A pretty woodland theme

Newlyweds Chloe and Ed mixed soft pink with plenty of dark greenery for their big day. “Our theme was woodland, with lots of green trees and splashes of pink from the pink bridesmaids dresses,” says Chloe. “We also had a green tree swing in the evening for a photo opportunity for guests.”

Chloe’s Astrid dress also had a lightly-coloured champagne lining that worked beautifully with the blush pink and the soft peach of her flower girl dresses.

A natural rustic feel

Nathalie and Lars went for a peachy pink colour theme with hints of white and light green for their wedding in Antwerp.

“We wanted to get married in just four months and found the perfect wedding venue in Bonheiden,” says Nathalie. “We loved the nature and the modern rustic style.”

Pink, pink sunshine

Pretty blush pink colours were used throughout Danielle and Max‘s lovely sunny wedding day. “There wasn’t really have a theme but we had rustic blush pink and sage green colours,” says Danielle. “We kept decorations to a minimum but did have additional touches like a sweet table. This was decorated in more sage green and blush pink.”

The couple’s flowers included pink and white roses and the groom and his groomsmen wore blush pink ties with matching rose buttonholes. The couple’s pet dog also got in on the fun, with his very own blush pink bow tie!

Beautiful blush and navy

The picturesque Morne Mountains in Northern Ireland provided a dramatic backdrop to Chloe and Liam’s delightful big day. “We didn’t follow any specific themes/trends as such,” says Chloe. “We just wanted a classic, modern look using blush pink and navy. My bridesmaids wore beautiful, flowing blush pink dresses and the groom and groomsmen wore navy suits.”

A fun summer wedding day

Finally, Sally and Matt chose the lightest of pinks mixed with contemporary navy for their August wedding. “The look for the day was very natural and summery,” says Sally. “We opted for a nude pink colour scheme, with peach roses and understated white gypsophila for our flowers.”

“The decorations were fairly minimal, with white drapes and simple white fairy lights. I made most of our decorations myself, as I’m quite creative and we were on a tight budget.”

So, when it comes to your colour scheme, whether it’s hot pink, blush pink, millennial pink, candy pink or any of the other beautiful shades out there, we hope we’ve inspired you to ‘think pink’ when it comes to your big day!
