These newlyweds married at a beautiful Ibiza wedding venue surrounded by family and friends…

Natasha and Tommy met at school when they were both in Year 8. “We were best friends, then one year later we got together,” says Natasha. “We now have twin daughters and have been together for 19 years.”

“I actually don’t remember our first date, as we were only 13!” says Natasha. “Tommy proposed at a beautiful hotel over 10 years ago now. His plan was to ask me when we went for a meal in the hotel but he couldn’t wait. He ended up proposing in our hotel room. It was perfect!”

Shopping for the dress

“A friend recommended wed2b to me,” says Natasha. “My visit to the Ashford store was so fun. It was like being a princess for a day. The staff were amazing and we all looked for ‘The One’ together. I tried four dresses on but none stood out to me like the dress I chose, which ended up being the first one I tried on, the beautiful Chloe.”

Natasha’s dress, Chloe, was a soft A-line with romantic floral lace and a flattering blush underlayer by Viva Bride. “I loved the blush colour and the beautiful flower pattern,” she says.

A stylish Ibiza wedding venue

The couple booked the Seaview Hotel Ibiza for their July wedding. "We went last year for a family holiday and the venue was so beautiful,” says Natasha. “It overlooks the sea and has the most perfect sunsets. We met with the wedding planner who was amazing and that was it. We booked a date there and then. It came around so quickly I could do it all again!”

The big day

“I got ready with my six bridesmaids, two of which were my daughters,” says Natasha. “The rest were my sisters. The temperature on the day was 33℃, so very hot.”

“My dad walked me down the aisle to ‘Beautiful’ by Ed Sheeran,” says Natasha. “Neither of us could hold it together before getting to the aisle. After the ceremony we had ‘This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)’ by Natalie Cole.”

“During the ceremony we also had a Spanish tradition, which we loved,” says Natasha. “All our guests were invited up to pour sand into a glass bottle for us from four different beaches around the island.”

A reception with a view

“After the ceremony we had a three-course meal outside, overlooking the sea,” says Natasha. “There was a choice of chicken, fillet steak or salmon for the meal. Then our first dance was to ‘Hero’ by Enrique Iglesias.”

Navy blue, hot pink and white

“The wedding colours were hot pink with navy blue and white,” says Natasha. “We were outside and it was all lit up with fairy lights and the cake was decorated with our flower choices.”

The best bits…

“The standout moments were cutting the cake with a sword, which is a  Spanish tradition, and our photoshoot by the rocks on the beach,” says Natasha.

My top tips…

“Don’t stress about the little things,” says Natasha. “They won’t matter in the end. The only thing that matters is that you both have the best day of your lives.”
