Bridal jacket or straps?

Straps are a great choice if you need a little extra support or a subtle amount of coverage. They’re also good for flattering the shoulders if the strapless look isn’t for you. Alternatively, a bridal jacket offers even more coverage, perhaps for a formal wedding or a winter celebration. Plus, you can use it to create two looks in one. Simply remove your bridal jacket in the evening, while adding a gorgeous belt or redoing your hairstyle with one or two sparkly clips. Then you’re ready to party the night away!

A touch of luxury

Let’s start with Gia, one of our most glamorous jackets. Fully lined and made from silky soft faux fur, it’s the perfect way to jazz up your look. It comes in three sizes and looks fabulous on your bridesmaids too.

You’ll feel warm, comfortable and, most importantly, fabulous all day long in luxuriously rich Kingsley. Made from the softest ivory faux fur with full-length sleeves, it’s ideal for winter weddings or a contemporary city do.

Marlee is a touch of Old Hollywood glamour and is a great way to create a second evening look.  This ivory, faux-fur bolero with shimmering satin lining will add a luxury feel to your outfit and makes a great alternative to the classic lace bolero. 

Why not mix and match with your maids too? Straps to make your look unique

Alternatively, if you want less coverage or are having a summer wedding, then you might prefer straps. Our 3.5in wide Lana straps are made from intricate beaded floral lace in a light champagne colour and offer softly draped coverage and support. They’re very flattering, particularly to the upper arm area, and add a romantic touch to any gown.

Our ivory Cara straps are slightly slimmer, at 3in wide, and also feature beautiful beaded lace, making them the perfect addition to an ivory strapless gown.

Lastly, our slim Kora straps are a simple and sophisticated way to change your look. Made from exquisite ivory lace, these delicate straps add a touch of prettiness to the shoulders while giving extra support to your dress. 

Timeless lace

If faux fur is too much but straps aren’t quite enough, then a lace bridal jacket is a great alternative. It’s also the perfect way to have two different looks. You can wear the more formal jacket in the daytime, then remove it in the evening to reveal a strapless party look. Our Katherina lace jacket is a  stunning choice for a traditional wedding. The elegant V-neckline and the Chantilly lace edging combine to give this classic bolero a stylish modern twist.
