Gina and Elliott's burnt orange wedding dream
The day had finally arrived, a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of forever.
With a burnt orange wedding colour scheme that symbolized warmth, love, and a touch of spice, Gina and Elliot's day was set to be truly exceptional.

A story that began in Brighton
Gina and Elliott's story started in Brighton, a vibrant coastal town known for its art and music scene. "We met at a gig in Brighton in November 2009, and the sparks started flying from there." says Gina. A month later, in December 2009, they had their first official date, a romantic dinner.
A proposal full of surprises

Fast forward to August 2021, and Elliott had a special surprise in store for Gina. "Elliott proposed on my 28th birthday in August 2021, a few months after the birth of our son" says Gina. Elliot took Gina to a restaurant with a stunning view of a serene lake and got down on one knee.
Discovering Anna Sorrano
Gina visited wed2b Brighton in East Sussex on Saturday 11th June 2022, with her mum, sister and maid of honour. "Via a friend's recommendation, I did not expect to find the perfect dress on that day!" Gina shared. "The store assistant was so helpful getting me in/out of the dresses..."
"...had all the right accessories to make the dress look special."

Gina chose Anna Sorrano's Bridgette dress, featuring illusion straps in an A-line silhouette with a classic lace skirt decorated with ornate appliques. "Bridgette was really flattering, amazingly sparkly and the corset back made me feel great as it could pull me in super tight." says Gina.
"The train was also really beautiful."
Gina styled her unique look with a delicate Solstice bridal belt, which was the perfect complement to the traditional dress. Anna Sorrano's limited edition Bridgette dress is an elegant classic. If you'd love something similar, take a look at A-line wedding dresses or vintage styled gowns.

A Memorable Venue with Stunning Scenery
The couple chose to celebrate their special day at a Cottesmore hotel, golf club, and spa. The venue offered beautiful grounds for their wedding photos, and the backdrop of beautiful greenery complemented their burnt orange wedding colour scheme. "All our guests could stay overnight and the venue had recently been redone. We also had our ceremony outdoors which was stunning." says Gina. The outdoor ceremony was a particular highlight, with nature providing the perfect setting for their June wedding day.

The big day
On the wedding morning, Gina got ready with her mum and bridesmaids at the hotel. They stayed overnight, taking advantage of the spa to relax and prepare for the big day. With a sunny and mild 23-degree weather, it was the perfect burnt orange setting for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Gina's dad proudly walked her down the aisle to the sweet sounds of George Ezra, setting the tone for the heartfelt vows they exchanged.

A burnt orange wonderland
The burnt orange colour scheme, chosen by the couple, added a warm and rich touch to their wedding. Gina explained, "We went for burnt orange as our colour scheme as it’s always been a favorite of mine and it really suits me and compliments my skin tone." The bridesmaids looked stunning in this vibrant burnt orange hue, creating a striking contrast against the lush greenery of the venue.

Gina and Elliott infused their wedding with personal touches. They made their own confetti and table decorations in various shades of burnt orange, creating a harmonious visual appeal. Their memory table featuring photos of loved ones they'd lost was a touching tribute in the heart of their burnt orange-themed celebration. The evening reception was filled with music, with a live band and a DJ playing KISSTORY classics that kept the dance floor buzzing all night.

The most memorable moments…
"Having our photos done in the evening whilst the sun was setting, it was a lovely bit of alone time! The speeches were also great, and dancing all night was memorable." says Gina.
And for other Anna brides…

Reflecting on their wedding experience, Gina had some advice to share with future brides. "Don’t go shopping for your wedding dress too far in advance thinking you won’t find anything, as Wed2B will stock something you love that you can take away with you that day!" She also emphasized the importance of not stressing on the day and taking the time to enjoy every moment, as it goes by quickly.
