How to choose your accessory

• Be inspired by your dress: All of your accessories need to complement the main event; your beautiful dress. So, if you’ve gone for a sleek modern style, you might like to add some extra glitz. Alternatively, if your dress is heavily embellished, then a single, well-chosen accessory may work better. 
• Choose your hairstyle: Knowing how you want your hair will help you choose the right hair accessory. For example, if you’re wearing your hair down you’ll most likely need a lighter comb or clip, unless you’re blessed with beautiful thick hair. If you’re going for a neat bun or updo it can probably take the weight of a heavier, more dramatic accessory.
• See it from all angles: As you did with your dress, make sure you know what it looks like from every angle. Ask the sales assistant to take snaps on your phone to help.
• Location, location: Where you place your hair accessories can change your look from contemporary to classic in an instant. Try them in different places to find the right positioning for you.

Hair slides

Hair slides, like our beautiful Evie design, are a versatile choice. Light enough for fine hair, they can be clipped into an updo or a half up/half down style. They can also be worn on one side for a touch of contemporary chic. We love Evie’s ivory pearls, crystals and gems, as well as the hand-painted, silver-plated leaves that give it a luxurious feel.

Alternatively, for a more autumnal feel, try Safia. It features delicate leaf and floral details, complemented with beads, pearls and crystals.

Hairpins

If you’d prefer a simple, understated style with just a dash of sparkle, then hairpins could be the look for you.
