For real drama and show-stopping elegance, long wedding dresses are hard to beat. There aren’t really many occasions where you can wear a dress with a train - unless you're lucky enough to be invited to lots of balls - so make the most of it! Trailing seductively behind you as you walk down that aisle, it’s guaranteed to make you feel regal, elegant and truly like the bride you are.
At WED2B you’ll be spoilt for choice by our huge selection of long wedding dresses. And you don’t have to be marrying in a cathedral or having a very traditional do to go for full-length. Long wedding dresses work for every style of wedding, whether you’re going boho or beach, classic or contemporary.
We’ve picked three of our favourite long wedding dresses from the new Anna Sorrano collection to inspire you…
A modern classic
This stunning fit and flare gown is an exquisite update on a timeless classic. It combines delicate dreamy tulle with intricate corded lace appliqués and falls to the floor beautifully. The neckline has soft detailing and the lace-up back is the perfect feature fastening. The Anna Sorrano collection is known for its simple sophistication and this design fits the brief perfectly.
Added extras…
One of the joys of this simple style is that you can really go to town with your accessories! Trust us, this dress looks amazing with a jacket, belt and veil. Start with our 190 underskirt too, which will help the skirt ‘pop’ a little at the bottom. A classic veil works well with this style and Maisie, with its delicate corded lace edging, is absolutely perfect. A pearl and crystal belt will also accentuate your waist and add a little shimmer. Finally, get two looks in one with a lace jacket. Our off-the-shoulder Kensington jacket comes with flattering three-quarter-length sleeves and a beautiful button back.
And if you love lace as much as we do take a peek at these lacy lovelies - Amal, Laurel and Carrie.
Princess-worthy perfection
Alternatively, a ball gown silhouette is perfect for princess brides. This floor-length skirt is made from layers of super soft tulle topped by a layer of organza and finished with embroidered lace. It will certainly sweep behind you in suitably royal style! The delicate beaded lace on the sweetheart bodice also falls attractively down the skirt and the lace-up back gives perfect waist definition.
Fairytale romance
Ball gowns are super flattering for most body shapes and this fantastic example is no exception. The lace-up back pulls in the waist to give comfortable support while the neat waistband is accentuated by volume at the hips. Wear it with an underskirt such as 163 or 153 for extra volume. This is a simple but classic style so here we’ve also matched it with our cathedral-length Washington veil, edged in romantic scalloped lace. An elegant updo paired with an understated headband and a pearl and crystal belt completes the look.

An elegant A-line
If ball gowns just aren’t your style there are so many other ways to wear full-length. This elegant A-line gown is made from luxurious satin with a delicate lace bodice. The train is simplicity itself and it’s a great style for showing off attractive shoulders.
Flowing lines
Turn around to reveal more clean and simple lines and a waist-defining, lace-up back. An A-line shape is a universally flattering silhouette as it balances the body’s proportions well and draws eyes towards a slim waist. Simply add a flowing cathedral-length veil for a little more drama.
And finally…
You’ll certainly feel like a princess in this sparkling strapless gown. The delicately beaded guipure lace and the floaty, floor-length tulle skirt are the perfect combo. The sweetheart neckline creates a soft feminine shape with elegant coverage and we love the pretty lace appliqués fading out beautifully from the waist!
Wear it your way
The flattering A-line silhouette creates a tiny waistline and to add more volume simply wear it with an underskirt. You can also create two different looks for day and night with our stylish Aida straps. A pearl and crystal belt at the waist will give even more definition to this key area. Then our Maisie veil is all you need to complete the look!
For more sumptuous A-lines with a sweetheart neckline try Maddie and Robyn. Alternatively, if you prefer a little more coverage, take a look at Georgie instead.
