Taylor Swift’s engaged!
And here’s what we think she might wear on the big day…
Well, it’s finally happened. And, if you’re a true Swiftie, this engagement might have been nearly as exciting as your own. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged and the internet is on fire with speculation about when they might marry, what the day will be like and, most importantly, what she might wear.
Get the ‘Taylor’ look
Her red carpet style is often romantic with a refined touch of glamour, and Taylor Swift is no stranger to extravagant dresses. Her Era’s Tour outfits included everything from glittering ballgowns and boned corsets to sparkling mini dresses and bodysuits, complete with knee-high boots. She also likes a touch of old-style romance, as we can see from her oval-cut, diamond engagement ring set in yellow gold, which has a distinctly vintage feel. What is certain, though, is that it’s unlikely the queen of reinvention will restrict herself to just one fabulous dress!
So, we asked our brilliant bridal experts - who really are the best at finding the perfect dress for every single bride - what they would choose for the world’s biggest pop star on her wedding day. Here are their tops picks based on some of her best looks…
The vibe: Glamorous, sexy, luxurious

The inspiration:
The stunning white, asymmetric Schiaparelli gown she wore to the 2024 Emmys, with lace-up, cats’ eye bodice, silky draped skirt and thigh-high split.
The dresses…
Rune ticks all the boxes when it comes to a fitted style with equal amounts of glamour and romance. Covered from top to toe in modern geometric lace and with a sexy plunging bodice, it captures Taylor’s free-spirited elegance and subtle sex appeal perfectly.

Alternatively, Luka has a similar feel to her Emmy’s dress, with its softly draped, crepe skirt and hip-hugging silhouette. The contemporary cat’s eye neckline also adds a catwalk edge, and will draw eyes upwards to the singer’s favourite bold red lipstick and glittering layered necklaces.
The vibe: Punky, confident, cool

The Inspiration:
Taylor loves a corset dress. Her structured Vivienne Westwood bodice with a sassy high/low skirt covered with song lyrics was one of her best tour looks.
The dress…
There’s only one choice when it comes to a Westwood-inspired silhouette and that’s Jules by Sofia Cruz. The statement basque-waist bodice lengthens the body while the rich, gathered skirt adds plenty of movement and drama. Paired with a bold pearl choker, it's the perfect outfit to suit Taylor's cool girl confidence.
The vibe: Modern botanicals

The Inspiration:
Taylor Swift often likes to mix classic romantic silhouettes with something a bit more contemporary, like the powder blue Oscar de la Renta A-line with oversized flower cut outs that she wore to the Era’s Tour film premier.
The dress…
So, we think she would love the modern florals on Solara. Heidi Hudson has reimagined the classic A-line with a low illusion back, exposed boning and a gorgeous, flower-strewn tulle skirt. It also has stunning off-the-shoulder straps that can be 'shaken off' to give the look a more contemporary evening edge.
The vibe: 21st Century fairytale

The Inspiration:
Another breathtaking tour look was her voluminous lilac ballgown with magnificent tiered tulle skirt, covered in crystals.
The dress…
We think Sevilla by Aaliyah Quinn is the perfect wedding day alternative. A glorious layered ballgown in floral burnout organza, it combines storybook fantasy with a stylish, catwalk feel. The skirt falls in wonderful layers at the front and a breathtaking full train at the back. Meanwhile, the chic pleated bodice has that quintessential 'soft-but-strong' Taylor feel.
The vibe: Floral extravaganza

The Inspiration:
Although, maybe the sequinned, pink Elie Saab A-line that she wore on the Era's Tour, decorated all over with masses of tumbling 3D organza petals, could hint at her dream dress instead?
The dress…
Juniper is a gentler take on the 3D florals trend but no less glamorous. With its flattering blush lining, floaty chiffon skirt and delicate beaded straps, it’s just made for the star’s dreamy whimsical side. Covered in endlessly pretty blooms in every size, it's the perfect choice if she’s going to lean into a more poetic, romantic look.
The vibe: Ethereal, dreamy, feminine

The Inspiration:
Taylor is also a big fan of Alberta Ferretti’s unstructured, flowing designs with lightly draped fabric and delicate lace, like the blush pink dress with theatrical sleeves that she wore at her Las Vegas show.
The dress…
Airlie by Heidi Hudson captures a similar ‘light as air’, unrestricted feel. The semi-sheer bodice is gossamer-thin and decorated with the prettiest flowers, while the diaphanous tulle skirt adds to the carefree, bohemian mood. We can imagine Taylor pairing this with our beautiful Marika sleeves too, for even more beautiful florals.
And, for the accessories…

Early on in her career, Taylor loved a cute hairband. So, for the big day, we think she might go for a more grown-up version of the look, as a subtle nod to where she began. This delicate double pearl headband is the perfect choice for a stylish update on her classic look. However, she also loves a bit of sparkle, so this crystal and pearl style has a little more glitter and would work beautifully with all her favourite hairstyles!
A personal love story
Ultimately, when it comes to Taylor Swift, everything she does tells a story, from her lyrics to her fashion choices. And, she’s well know for hiding ‘Easter Eggs’ for her fans in every outfit she wears. So, we predict there will be lots of hidden references to the couple’s romance too, perhaps embroidered song lyrics on her veil, symbolic jewellery or meaningful outfit changes.
And, whether she leans into fairytale romance, vintage glamour or modern minimalism, her dress is guaranteed to tell us something moving about her personal journey and her love story, so watch this space. We can’t wait to see what she does!
