Katrina and Hossam first met on 12 February 2020 in Eindhoven. “I felt great and there was a really nice spark between us,” says Katrina.

A romantic proposal

Hossam proposed after the couple had been together for two and a half years. “Hossam proposed while we were in Scheveningen, a seaside resort in The Hague,” says Katrina. “It was on 26th August 2022 and it was romantic, which I didn’t expect.”

Shopping for the dress

“I found WED2B on Google,” says Katrina. “I loved the idea of not having to make a fitting appointment, which made the task easier. The staff at the Eindhoven store were very sweet and helpful too, and very patient."

“I chose an A-line style princess dress because this look fitted my body perfectly.” Katrina chose the beautiful Nicolina wedding dress. For similar styles try Jonie, Rylee or Monikh.

A stylish event venue

“I also found my wedding venue, De Prins in Beverwijk, on Google,” says Katrina. “I chose it because it was really classy and stylish, which was what I wanted. We got married on 10th December 2022.”

The big day

“My wedding day was amazing,” says Katrina. “I couldn’t believe it but I was very calm,” says Katrina. “I really enjoyed myself and everyone was happy with the day.”

“The most special moment was when I said, ‘yes’ in the ceremony, because it just felt so nice and like the right thing,” says Katrina. “I was so overjoyed I couldn’t even hear the music as I walked back down the aisle with my new husband.”

“After the ceremony, we had a party with food, drinks and snacks,” says Katrina. “Then the DJ started and we danced a lot!”

Lovely personal details

“Everything was personalised with our names and we served Arabic food,” says Katrina. “The wedding cake arrived late but it was very tasty and looked amazing. We also had favours, which I made myself.”

“For me, our first dance was also one of the most memorable moments of the day.”

"Choose a comfortable dress that isn’t too heavy,” says Katrina. “Make sure it’s something you can easily move in.”
