Stunning classic wedding gowns
Bridal trends come and go but beautiful classic wedding gowns will always stand the test of time. Something that’s chic and elegant, with an ethereal quality that highlights your natural beauty, is always a good choice for your big day.
Our Anna Sorrano collection is known for its truly timeless designs, created with rich fabrics and high-quality lace and appliqués. These classic wedding gowns combine flattering silhouettes, elegant necklines and dramatic trains with minimal beading, to create a look that is always graceful and refined. We also have truly classic looks in our other ranges too, and Viva Bride is perfect for brides who are looking for traditional bridal chic but with a scattering of eye-catching sparkle.
Today we’ve picked four beautifully timeless designs to inspire you. Each one is the epitome of classic bridal style and will look just as fabulous in your photographs on your tenth anniversary as it did when you walked down that aisle…
Sophisticated styling
Cambridge is a traditionally elegant ball gown that really is as timeless and classic as it gets. Made from crisp Mikado fabric in a soft ivory shade, the understated shape flatters all figures. The pleated bodice also defines the waistline, while the horsehair hem means the sleek skirt keeps its shape all day long. Then the off-the-shoulder straps are the perfect way to frame beautiful shoulders, while still offering plenty of coverage and support.

You can add one, or even two, underskirts to this look to achieve just the right amount of volume. It also benefits from a touch of glitz at the waistline. Lastly, the classic look just isn’t complete without a stunning tiara. Take a look at Tara too, for another similarly timeless style.
Putting on the glitz
If you’d prefer a little more glitter then our Viva Bride range is the one for you. Roma is a princess tulle A-line with a beaded bodice, embellished spaghetti straps and sparkling crystal and pearl buttons. The deep sweetheart neckline, a lovely contemporary touch, adds an eye-catching twist and balances out the horsehair-edged skirt.

This really is one for sparkle lovers, and the bodice is fully encrusted with beads from the straps to the dainty buttons. Your wedding day is the perfect time to indulge your love of all things glittery, so style this design with our classic Estella belt, topped off with our traditional Alexi tiara. We think you’ll love it!
Contemporary chic
Rosalynn is best described as a modern classic. The shimmering Mikado fabric gives the A-line silhouette and floral embroidery a modern makeover. We also love the softer, slightly curved V-neckline that’s truly flattering and really makes this design stand out from the crowd.

At the back, there’s neat lacing, for a great fit, before the skirt flares out in all its glory into a beautiful train. Don’t forget to add an underskirt to show it off to its absolute best. Then a Regency tiara is the perfect finishing touch for a look that really is timeless.
Live the fairy tale
Violette’s off-the-shoulder Bardot-Style straps, which flatter the décolletage beautifully, are perfect for brides who want the classic fairytale but with a touch of glamour. The bodice is also covered in embroidered lace appliqués, embellished with tiny white beads and ornate pearls, which create beautiful sparkle from every angle.

The back features traditional lacing, which gives a great fit and also provides extra support for larger busts. The standout feature of this design though is the stunning tulle skirt, which really is the epitome of elegance. The lightweight material has been designed to drape beautifully while still holding its ballgown shape. For even more show-stopping volume you can also double up with one of our underskirts. Finally, complete the look with our glittering Solstice belt and our suitably regal Perla tiara.
